iStorage, a leading specialist in portable storage and digital encryption, has signed five new distribution agreements further extending its reach into European retail and corporate markets. With many existing distribution deals in place across Europe, iStorage has now signed long term agreements with R&M ICT in the Czech Republic, Bedriftssystemer in Finland, Norway and Sweden plus PSP High Value Distribution in Germany.
The primary focus for each distributor will be on iStorage’s flagship portable hard drive diskG*. Featuring a robust, compact, shock-proof design and combining ATM style PIN code access with 128 or 256-bit AES hardware encryption, it ensures information is totally secure even if the drive is removed from its enclosure. Available in HDD and SSD versions, diskG* is the first USB hard drive to be awarded a CESG Claims Tested Mark (CCTM) certificate operating at levels below ‘Restricted for Information Assurance.
In addition, iStorage has agreed a deal with Swedish reseller i2G. As well as offering diskG*, the agreement will see i2G stock iStorage’s DiskCrypt Mobile device, which is the world’s first encrypting hard drive enclosure with smartcard technology for authentication. Designed to encrypt all data on-the-fly, DiskCrypt Mobile requires no software installation and operates independently of the operating system.
